Liz's Logs

We are Liz and Beau Dobson, a husband and wife team, managing the hedgerows on the family farm near Yelverton.

We follow the traditional techniques of coppicing and laying the hedges and have been commended by the Sylvanas Trust and Tamar Valley AONB for our hedgerow management.

We let the hedges grow tall and don't flail them every year, as you may see on many farms.

This encourages a healthy hedgerow with diverse wildlife, and also leads to you (and us) getting lovely quality logs.
